This is another argument which is often held against veganism. A lion is a carnivore and his whole body is designed to live perfectly by only eating meat. Humans are omnivores. We can eat meat and plants and our body is working. But just because we can eat it doesn’t mean we should (read more about this topic here). If you are comparing yourself with a lion you need to consider that you have the option to choose what you eat. And despite a lion, your body will have serious problems if you only eat meat your whole life. Or another question: If you give a baby a rabbit (or chicken) and an apple. Which one would it eat? The apple of course.

Do the same with a lion baby. Probably it would first play with the chicken or rabbit. But if it gets hungry it would always choose the animal over the apple. We don’t have hunting instincts which a carnivore needs to survive. Or does a cow on the field make your mouth water? For a lion, this is the case but usually not for us. We don’t even have good enough teeth or claws (natural weapons). And do you eat your meat raw? No. So what do you really have in common with a lion’s eating habits? Not much. So I think we shouldn’t compare ourselves with a lion or other carnivores. Read more about it here.

Do the change and go vegan

By simply making other choices in the supermarket you can have a direct impact on the harm caused to other living beings. If you have any concerns regarding veganism have a look at my other articles and if you still have open questions or if you are struggling at a specific point, just leave me a comment or contact me directly. If you want to support this webpage and me to continue spreading the vegan message you can do this here. Thank you a lot.

Don’t close your eyes and ask yourself what stops you to make a difference? I am convinced you won’t regret it.
